Residenza Cornino
Our olivefarm Residenza Cornino in Tuscany dates back to the 17th century.
At Residenza Cornino there are three holiday apartments on the ground floor for rent. We ourselves live on the upper level.
Each apartment is very spacious and equipped for self-catering. The apartments have a combined kitchen - living room, one to two bedrooms with air conditioning, bathroom and private patio. In the garden, which is shared by all guests on the farm, there is a pool with sun loungers, barbecue area and several patios and pergolas.
Residenza Cornino is located on a hill in the countryside between Florence in the north and Siena in the south. From the farm there are miles of views of vineyards and olive groves.
Residenza Cornino is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico wine district with the black rooster, gallo nero, as its symbol. From Residenza Cornino we see San Gimignano and anticipate Monteriggioni and Volterra. The Via Francigena pilgrimage route is close by. To the south are Montalcino and Montepulciano and to the east Assisi and Arezzo.
We produce the olive oil, Residenza Cornino Olio Extra Vergine di Oliva, from the olive grove here on the farm.
The small medieval village of Castellina in Chianti can be reached by car in five minutes. Expect a car to be convenient to have access to during your stay. You are close to UNESCO World Heritage Sites and Cities such as Siena, San Gimignano, Pienza and Florence. The trip here can be solved in many ways, most often our guests fly to Florence, Pisa, Bologna or Rome and from there a rental car to the farm.
