WELCOME TO RESIDENZA Cornino In BELLATOSCANA.
Residenza Cornino is located on a hill outside the village of Castellina in Chianti in the province of Siena in Tuscany, Italy. Residenza Cornino is located in the Chianti Classico wine district in the countryside between Florence in the north and Siena in the south. To the west is San Gimignano and Volterra and to the east, Arezzo. An undulating hilly landscape meets you with vineyards, olive groves and medieval villages surrounded by ring walls, castles and wine producers' mansions (Palazzo).
 
Residenza Cornino is an old olive farm and a typical Tuscan country house (Casa Colonica) in stone dating back to the 1650s, who still have olive oil production.
Our olive oil is called "Residenza Cornino 1656 Olio Extra Vergine di Oliva". A noble exclusive natural product without chemical additives that contain only the first cold-pressed olive oil with olives from our own olive grove on the farm.

From the airport in Firenze (Florence)
From the airport in Firenze (Florence), choose the A1 towards ROMA. Go to right immediately at the exit from the airport. Turn right and follow Uscita ‘ROMA A1’ after the gas station. Take a ticket from the machine and continue to drive on the motorway. Stay on the road for Roma when the road forks. You are now on the A1 towards Roma and on the ring road around Firenze. From the airport of Pisa
From the airport in Pisa, select the way to FLORENCE. When you approach Florence look out for
signs saying ROMA A1 and follow these signs. You are now on the outside of Firenze. Continue reading at *USCITA SIENA*
 
Note! There is an alternative route from Pisa.  Follow Superstrada towards Siena and take the exit Monteriggioni and drive through the village of Castellina Scalo. Turn right on to the SP51 and drive towards Castellina in Chianti. Turn at the signs saying Lornano.
 
 
*USCITA SIENA*
Pay at the ticket booth and take the immediate right towards Siena. Now you have a total of approx. 45 minutes by car to Residenza Cornino.
Look out for the exit for SAN DONATO, and then CASTELLINA IN CHIANTI.
(If you are longing for a coffee or some snacks stop at the gas station "Chianti bar".)
 
The journey continues in a beautiful hilly landscape on the winding roads for about 13 kilometers. Arriving in the medieval village of Castellina in Chianti there is a Stop sign and a quiet confusing intersection. Turn right and drive towards SIENA (SP51)
 
If you want to buy groceries keep straight ahead through the intersection and stop at the small supermarket ‘Coop’. The supermarket is a bit difficult to locate because it has no windows, but you will find it on the left hand side just before ‘Bar Italia’. Coop is often closed Wednesday afternoon and Sunday. Generally opening are 8.30 -13. Closed for lunch between 13-15 and then open again between 19 or 19.30.
 
Turn at the signs saying  LORNANO and SAN LEONINO . Drive on the gravel road about 2 km. Pick up your key at Vallechianti. Look for the sign VALLECHIANTI on your left handside.
After you picked up your key continue driving on the gravel road for about 500 meters. Turn left when you see the sign for Residenza Cornino and Casina di Cornia.
Drive up the steep hill, keep left when the road makes a turn. Drive past a house on the right and one on the left. On the left hand side of the road you will see our sign on a large stone with the sign RESIDENZA CORNINO. Please park at the space with your apartment name next to the house.
